One for the Gamers Out There

Compa from Hyperdimension Neptunia

Sorry for the poor quality of today's picture.  A friend took the picture with the camera on his phone and texted it to me.  The game Hyperdimension Neptunia is an RPG for the PS3.  The character Compa gets a tiny hat that can be equipped at some point in the game.  As you hopefully know, THW is all about world domination of sorts and tiny hats have now successfully invaded your video games.  :-)

Itsy Bitsy Spider

What makes a tiny hat work is when the wearer makes it work.  Yes, that tiny spider witch hat looks ridiculous, but the model in the pic looks like she is having a blast.  That is why I love this pic.

Little Winged.

Today's selections come from Little Winged.  This shop has a mix of influences from anime, lolita, and steampunk which really shine through in the hats.  They have a decent stock of hats and they all seem the be in a price range anyone could afford.  I just love that they even have tiny hats for dolls.

Steampunk-esque.

Spring/fantasy.

Buccaneer Friday!

I found this here.  It is some random costume hub site.  If you actually wanted to buy something, it links you to the seller's main site and not the item.  Strange.  You pretty much have to know you are searching for the Black Bucaneer Mini Hat.  I don't want to spend too much time on the fact that they use a grainy image.  Instead, lets focus that it is really spell Buccaneer.  Yes, it was even misspelled on the site actually selling it.  Otherwise, it is kinda of a cute hat.

On the Cover of the Fashion Scene

Today, I want to share with you a U.K. based Etsy seller who has been featured on the front cover of Today's Bride (fall issue 2009) Vogue , OK Magazine and Harpers Bazaar.  Topper Hats is a dream of a shop visually.  Even though it is more than I can afford to spend on a tiny hat I still find myself eating up the eye candy there. The style is high fashion, in a very "party girl" way.  Or, as the mind behind the designs says, "An absolute dream for adding a finishing touch to any outfit, whether you're teasing yourself with burlesque, Victorian music hall... or perhaps celebrating a particularly special event with a touch of showgirl."

I really want people to send in pics wearing this hat.

I really love this shade of pink.

Once again, biased because I love pink!

Glitter and Glamor

Today I want to share with you the glittery goodness that is Janine Basil.  This shop has some amazing tiny hats, but there is so much more to her work.  I highly suggest checking out the Etsy shop if you like what you see.

I love how these hats are girl, fun, and bold.  Be warned- they are a bit pricey, but the quality is well worth it.

Coming soon to THW: Ask Mr. Tiny Hat

Hello, all!  If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, then you already know I have an announcement today.  I hope to start a new feature on the blog called Ask Mr. Tiny Hat.  The idea is that you e-mail Mr. Tiny Hat your questions and he answers them.  Pretty simple, huh?  A lot of the details are still being hammered out (whether the segment is weekly or biweekly, whether or not it should be video, etc.), but I wanted to go ahead and announce it so you could start sending your questions to Mr. Tiny Hat.

Mr. Tiny Hat is a friend of mine who is very wise.  The idea is that you can ask anything. . . and I do mean ANYTHING.  Serious and silly, nothing (aside from asking for porn and the like) is off limits.  Mr. Tiny Hat, with all of his wisdom, will answer your questions in a way only a man wearing a tiny hat can.  We will hopefully have this up and running by March, but to make it work we need your to help.  Please send your questions for Mr. Tiny Hat to: askmrtinyhat@consultant.com.  Mr. Tiny Hat is waiting to hear from you!

Relics of the Future

Etsy is not the only place you can find a mass market of handmade goods.  Artfire is another one and where I found Imaginary Relics.  The shop is one of three branches of  Troll Bridge Studio.  These hats are for steampunk and Victorian era enthusiast.  (And the shop has some nice jewelery to match.)

I love this one, but I tend to be a sucker for pink.

Sophisticated and sexy.

Pay close attention.  This one has bee accents.

Yo Ho Yo Ho! A Tiny Hat for Me!

Not too long ago I was on a mission- Tiny Pirate Hats!  I knew they HAD to exist, so I went searching.  That is how I found Red Lunar Moon.  What makes Red Lunar Moon so special is that the hats are OOAK (one of a kind) and custom designed.  So if you have a specific tiny hat need, this is the shop to go to.
