Seductively Tiny

A while back, I had a post about the bad girls of Gotham City done in Victorian style.  Well, from the looks of it someone went and made cosplay of Ivy based on the design.  Enjoy.

Rusted Beauty

There is a very elegant quality to the Victorian era.  I love when a milliner is able to capture that in a tiny hat.  These lovelies come from Rusted Beauty, a store that specializes in steampunk, sci-fi, and Victorian themes.  I personally find the red hat to be my favorite.  Which do you like best?

Glitz, Glamor, and Tiny Hats

This one is my favorite.

Jenkitty's Closet isn't your usual Victorian/steampunk inspired tiny hats. These hats range in size (small to mini) and style.  Some are glitzy, some have cogs, and the one directly below has an Asian feel.  There are even a couple of witch hats on display.  (I think we have more than proven you can properly design and sell tiny witch hats.)

I love this witch hat.

Victorian Gothem Girls

I know I don't normally do Saturday updates, but I came across something truly wonderful lately.  I'm a huge Batman fan.  Huge.  My villains of choice are Joker and Harley Quinn, so when I stumbled upon this picture I fell in love.  If you enjoy the art, stop by NoFlutter's deviantART page and show her some love.  She could use it right now.  Also, people have been know to cosplay some of her designs. . . . I would love to see someone pull this one off.  Just send us the pics if you do! ;-)

Shamelessly Glamorous

Who doesn't like Hello Kitty?

I have quite the treat for everyone today!  These hats are from Shameless Glamour, an Etsy shop whose home base in my old town, Seattle, Washington.  Maybe you heard of the Emerald City before? ;-)  The selection at Shameless Glamour is a nice blend of the cute fantasy and of the sophistication of a night on the town.

I just love the pattern on the fabric.

This hat looks just as sugary sweet at the candy on it!

Very understated and elegant.

I just imagine this with a matching bright pink Victorian dress.

I would also like to mention that we are well in the middle of convention season.  If you have picture of you and/or your friends (or even strangers) sporting tiny hats at a con, please send them in.  Your pictures just might make it on the site!

Hey Sailor! Hats

Photographed by Charlie Bones Photography. Model: Looooo, MUA: Xen Reyes

Today we take a look at more hats that are such a beautiful work of art.  It takes time and dedication to make pieces this lovely.  The hats at Hey Sailor! Hats are truly exquisite and unique.  Perfect for anyone with a flare for such fashion genres as Victorian, Goth, Lolita, and even Burlesque.  Marvel in the beauty on this page.

On the Cover of the Fashion Scene

Today, I want to share with you a U.K. based Etsy seller who has been featured on the front cover of Today's Bride (fall issue 2009) Vogue , OK Magazine and Harpers Bazaar.  Topper Hats is a dream of a shop visually.  Even though it is more than I can afford to spend on a tiny hat I still find myself eating up the eye candy there. The style is high fashion, in a very "party girl" way.  Or, as the mind behind the designs says, "An absolute dream for adding a finishing touch to any outfit, whether you're teasing yourself with burlesque, Victorian music hall... or perhaps celebrating a particularly special event with a touch of showgirl."

I really want people to send in pics wearing this hat.

I really love this shade of pink.

Once again, biased because I love pink!

Relics of the Future

Etsy is not the only place you can find a mass market of handmade goods.  Artfire is another one and where I found Imaginary Relics.  The shop is one of three branches of  Troll Bridge Studio.  These hats are for steampunk and Victorian era enthusiast.  (And the shop has some nice jewelery to match.)

I love this one, but I tend to be a sucker for pink.

Sophisticated and sexy.

Pay close attention.  This one has bee accents.

Variety is the Spice of Life

We all know tiny hats are big in those who love vintage Victorian style, which would probably explain why the Gothic Lolita girls love them so.  The burlesque scene has even embraced the fashion over the past few years.  Now brides seem to be stepping into the  trend.  The nice thing about Two Back Flats is they have a hat for every tiny hat lover and beautiful photography to show them off.
