Clockwork Doll
These curious dolls are the the creation of Michele Lynch. The steampunk influence is quite obvious, though I would describe them as Tim Burton-esque. While a bit creepy, I find them to be completely adorable.

He Wanted a Tiny Hat. . .
Even Meta Knight is jumping on the bandwagon. This picture has a bit of a story behind it, too. Quizzical-Squidopus on deviantART made this after he read a comic done by Setzeri.

Tasty Treats
You may remember the deviantART user NoFlutter from a post I did not too long ago about the bad girls of Gotham City. The talented artist doesn't just draw people wearing tiny hats, she make hats as well. These delicious looking hats are just so colorful and creative. If you are attending Holiday Matsuri 2011 in Orlando, Florida on December 16-18, she will have a booth in the Artist Alley selling these wonders.

A (Tiny) Hat for Every Occasion
At Joei Reed Custom Millinery there is almost literally a small hat for any occasion. I love the witch hat with the veil. Very cute. The mini cowboy hat is also completely adorable. Which do you like best?

Lady Narf
Today I bring you hats from Lady Narf's Wigs n' Wear. The detail of these hats is amazing to me. The clock on the above hat has the lovely painted look, but the hands are actually there. The pirate mini stove pipe below has an almost antique feel. Many of the hats at the shop have the same antique feel with a pinch of quirk. Which do you like best?

Ride 'Em Cowgirl?
I had something planned for today, but then someone sent me this-
The picture was found on Beauty of Fashion talking about how to wear a cowboy hat while on vacation. Even though he/she didn't source the picture, I believe it originally came from Costume Craze. I am sure most of you know what I want to say about this picture. I don't think she is pulling off the hat very well. It isn't small enough for the look they were going for in the picture. I feel for the model because she is really doing her part, but the whole ensemble just doesn't work. What do you think of this picture? Does it look silly or well done?

Glitz, Glamor, and Tiny Hats
This one is my favorite. |
Jenkitty's Closet isn't your usual Victorian/steampunk inspired tiny hats. These hats range in size (small to mini) and style. Some are glitzy, some have cogs, and the one directly below has an Asian feel. There are even a couple of witch hats on display. (I think we have more than proven you can properly design and sell tiny witch hats.)
I love this witch hat. |
